Our Friend's Father
There she was, with all that being said behind her that was in her university days. One cannot confirm whether anyone was bold enough to confront her with the rumor or should we say, the negative joke about her up bring. It is to be added however, that one could not come to the level of joining the accusation. It was unimaginable that her up bring was being discussed without regards to her parent's position in the matter. One of the things they said was, "if at all, then she must be the product of accidental discharge", there where some semblance of the father in her. Whereas they all believed their parent wanted to have them; they doubted or refused to be that generous to her.
Events have since shown that even her father was among those saying such terrible things about her and some other children of the same parentage. One would rather not talk about her parentage. Suffice however to mention that, that entitled her to speak with some authority on the state of their family businesses and life styles. At the time, they where many of us who believed that she probably was over doing things just to boost her "integrity"
To any one who cared to list, she spoke of the family relationship with the then President of the United State of America. Bill Clinton was his name. Still reporting her; there are pictures to evidence this. In fact both were principal officers in a multi national enterprise. One is tempted to believe her, after all, there were picture on the Cable Network, projecting the father in the swearing in ceremony of the " bosom friend" Clinton. That ordinarily should confirm her position.
Considering revelations emanating from the panel, particularly in view of the newfound definition of the word "terrorist". Revelations that the government of our friend's father bosom friend sent a supposedly "powerful delegation" solely for purposes of finishing him. Also considering that knowledge acquired from the several meetings with our friend's father; (the man love to take tea; the latest of lethal weapons) which was used to finish him tells a lot.
Very interesting, is the revelation that the killer tea was served by Ms. Rice (then American Secretary of State) who we understand led the delegation of killers, or to employ the latest grammar in the system, we could say Ms. S. Rice led the delegation of "Terrorist" to finish the man even whilst he was in custody. One was not any where near the scene of the said terrorist attack, but the following would be natural to conclude as the reaction of our friend father on his being informed that he would be host to a delegation from the bosom friend.
The chief would most likely believe that his friend had made spirited efforts to secure his release from custody; may be and wishfully too, the mandate which he believed so mush in. he may also have deluded himself that the meeting with the friend's "powerful delegation" , would reawaken the fighting spirit of his many run away supporters, (a number of which dot our present political landscape) that believe may have being strengthened by the fact at the time of the terrorist attack, no transition program was in place. The chief may also have felt that after all it was not going to be in vain, and that he was soon to reunite with his family friends and several businesses, particularly those with the bosom friend who was making all efforts to ensure his release.
It was probably with these in mind, that he innocently welcomed an offer of his favorite drink; (well known to his friend's delegation.) As it were, Terrorist Rice as we are made to understand, who ordinarily was leading a powerful delegation became a chef, if only, bring to the plan to fruition. The man died there after.
Ever since those revelations were made at the panel, one has often wondered, how or what concern the American Republic so much as to send down to Nigeria, a delegation of Terrorist to kill their friend. Also, why they had to inform us about the cause of death even before any post mortem report was carried out.
Also disturbing was the family resolve to investigate the cause of death in the enemies territory, put differently are there still "Shofolahons" in the family, whose design is to cover up the gray areas their master planners forgot to take care of. After all, one would have imagined that, there are several specialist doctors around to investigate the cause of death. Many of whom are doctors trained in the U.S.
The fear of more "Shofolahons" in the family should be taking seriously in view of the fact that following the Oputa revelations, the family has not considered it appropriate to take actions against the U.S based terrorist group and their network; which is reasonable to presumed had Clinton the bosom friend as head. That also is against the background that the identities of some of the U.S based terrorist Organization is now common knowledge. Ms. Susan Rice personally led the terrorist gang that terrorized Nigeria on that fatefully day, members of her delegation (or better put), gang are well known.
The question is what does the writer expects from the family? The answer to which question is equally simple. The terrorist Organization operates from the Republic, that prides itself as the biggest defender of democracy, the family could commence legal proceedings there to deport the terrorist to Nigeria where they terrorized the populace, to face prosecution under the Nigeria legal system.
There maybe some who would argue that the personalities involved are VIPs, and that as a result, the matter should better handled without recourse the so- called terrorist VIPs. After all, as they argue, the Charge de Affairs of that Republic did issue a statement denying the involvement of their government and people in the death of the chief. It is the same people who would argue that former Heads of State be brought to face the Oputa Commission. What is good for the goose.
In any case, of what value is the statement issued by the Charge de Affairs; which said officials could quite easily have delivered the massage, (if indeed there were any) to the chief without inviting the gang of terrorist. Or if there were no "special/hidden agenda" in sending the "powerful delegation" of terrorist to the chief why not reach him through officers in their Charge de Affairs in the country. One is not even bothered with appropriateness or otherwise of Terrorist Rice serving tea in high places of Nigeria.
Then again, the need for the government of the day to take up the matter with the U.S cannot be over emphasized, government should demand the immediate deportation of members of the terrorist organization already known, and continue investigations on the identities of others. Also, and in view of the new found craze by elected representatives to visit the country of the terrorist, the message should be, if they could do it to the chief, who had as a bosom friend, their president, and then they can do it to you.
